When you quiz people about Chuck Norris's TV career the most successful show people may remember of his is Walker Texas Ranger and little did we know that this action-packed show would become a big winner of CBS's 90's lineup. When Walker Texas Ranger made it's debut in 1993 CBS knew that a crime drama would be a huge hit because after all CBS's big hits were crime dramas and so with Chuck Norris as the star they knew that he could easily become a TV celebrity and the answer would be a crime/action based drama set in Texas. And thus Walker Texas Ranger was born and with it's exciting action scenes and adventure around every corner Walker Texas Ranger had everything crime drama fans needed. And with the characters Alex who was Walker's crush his fellow friend Trivette and the friendly yet wonderful CD Walker Texas Ranger was full of excitement that left fans wanting more. And as every season went on we saw many celebrities make appearances such as singer Dionne Warwick to country star Lila McCann and we saw Walker try his hand at sports such as filling in for injured race car driver Brian Falcon in the NASCAR based episode Team Cherokee and attending a horse race in the episode Rainbow's End but with those talents showed that Cordell Walker could not only solve mysteries but gave him a chance to show off Chuck Norris's karate talents and that alone gave Walker Texas Ranger good ratings. Later singer Nia Peeples joined the cast and gave Walker Texas Ranger another female lead other than Sheree J. Wilson and that gave the show even bigger ratings. But in my eyes CBS should've let Walker Texas Ranger have one more season instead of ending it because the show was so successful. But I think once the Walker Texas Ranger TV movies were made it made new fans discover the show and it's no secret that Walker Texas Ranger reruns are going strong appearing on Up and INSP because this is the show that made Chuck Norris a TV star
