If I have my facts straight, one point she was making 20 grand an episode for Diff'rent Strokes, which is quite high considering it was the early '80s and her importance (or lack thereof) to the series. Diff'rent Strokes was said to have had a very high salary budget, which was why they never did any location shows ala The Facts of Life. In any event, she was attempting to rob a dry cleaners in Las Vegas within five years after the show went off the air. So again, it makes you wonder if Dana went through that money pretty quickly.
