In the 1960's Tootsie Roll Pops debuted a weird commercial and it looked odd to me when I first saw it it's almost creepy. The commercial begins with a kid eating a Tootsie Roll Pop when suddenly two kids dressed as an angel and a devil show up and dare the kid to see how long it will take him to get to the Tootsie Roll center of the Tootsie Roll while a timer goes on and all throughout the commercial the devil and angel kids keep daring the kid to try to eat the Tootsie Roll center of the Tootsie Roll Pop until at last the kid finally eats the whole Tootsie Roll Pop and then the commercial ends with the famous slogan "How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop?',
"The world may never know"
I wonder if this commercial was to be revived in a new version I wonder if it would be removed by TV stations because it would target bullying today?
