In my box of music I found Sheena Easton's album The Lover In Me and it came out in 1988 and I would like to know more about it? It appears that Sheena was going for an R&B sound with this album and she teams up with Babyface and Angela Winbush and Prince on this album. The biggest single from The Lover In Me was No Deposit No Return and a song called Days Like This was the first single. The other song which is the most popular from The Lover In Me was a ballad called Follow My Rainbow which gained popularity when Sheena Easton guest starred on an episode of Miami Vice in 1989 and she sang that ballad. Did The Lover In Me not sell very good for Sheena Easton at first and were they really marketing her as an R&B singer?
