I guess I'll be the first to answer http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

1. Mike

2. 26

3. Montreal, Canada

4. First saw it when I was still a baby (in the 70's) but was never a die-hard fan of it until I saw this site.

5. Ralph and Potsie

6. Sadly, no...but i would have liked it better!

7. HD would have toppled Friends! One word...FONZIE

8. no celeb has ever been to my house, so I'd freak if Don Most arrived. I'd ask him to say "how are ya! how are ya!how are ya!".

9. Rocky Baruppi (sp?)...Fonz often mentioned him, but we only saw him once. For someone who inspired Fonz so much, he could have been seen more.

Joannie always mentioned Jenny Piccolo, so they actually brought that character to life, after Richie and Ralph left. I wish they'd done the same with Rocky Baruppi, since he was always praised by Fonzie.

Other than that, I wish Sticks would've been more of a regular.

1. James

2. 29

3. Dayton, Ohio (born in Hamilton, about 40 miles southwest)

4. when I was very little (I know it was before the age of 8!)

5. the theme song

6. probably--I think it would have gone on longer than "Cheers"

7. "Happy Days" would CLOBBER "Friends" in the Nielsens!

8. I'd be stunned!

9. a toss-up between Laverne and Shirley

2. 14

3. The neighborhood I live in can be considered in any of three towns: Hamilton, OH, Liberty Township, OH, and West Chester, OH... Hey James! Hamilton's boring, isn't it? I always thought so.

4. I don't rmemeber when I actually first saw it, but I became a fan in 1998 when L&S came to N@N.

5. The characters, the fact that it was funny, and the chemistry between all the actors.

6. I'm not sure.

7. As much as I would want Happy Days to beat Friends, I think Friends would win. Friends is extremely popular and Happy Days is too clean-cut for today's television. Nobody seems to want clean-cut anymore.

8. I think I would scream.

9. Hmm... Well, Laverne & Shirley (and Lenny and Squiggy for that matter) should have been in more episodes. And even though she was never a guest character on Happy Days, I think Mindy from Mork and Mindy should've been in an episode with Mork.

"I do like the show.... It's fun to do. I like the character of Charity because she's so hopeful. She's never bitter. There's plenty of things that happen to her that could make her bitter. But she always thinks tomorrow's going to be beautiful. And someday it will be."
- Gwen Verdon

"The advertisements for the show say 'Gwen Verdon as Sweet Charity.' Note that as 'as.' Not 'starring in' or just plain 'in' or even 'in the new musical,' but 'as.' She is that girl. She is Sweet Charity and forever will be."

2,3 the 1st episode was the one inwhich the Cunningham house gets robbed. I saw that when it aired first in 1975. I was hired at the Post Office in 77 & missed most of the episodes until I bought muy 1st vcr in 1981.
4 Portland Oregon, I heard Garry Marshall loved Portland & have noticed the "Oregon" pennet in the background during the band numbers

5 I think the series might have been more popular if Ron & Don had stayed. Maybe different writers might have given the shows more variety.

6 Probably "Friends" because it's geared to a more modern audience, though I think HD might give the former a run for their money

7 like the others here, I'd feel quite honored.

8 Leather, Arnold (maybe he could have done a different character) Rocky Baruffy,Ralph's dad (Jack Palance) & Jenny in the 1970's since she was Joannie's best & often referred to friend. I liked "Katmandu" too.
Plus "Mork" should have done more than just 2 episodes, since he was a favorite of the cast, probably.

4. when did u first watch Happy Days? 7th grade..on the N@N marathon. **ahh.when N@N was good*

5. What did you like so much about it that you would come back to see more? The 50's. That made me like, obsessed with it!

6. if Ron Howard and Don most had stayed, would the series have continued on any further? Oh God..DEF. Yess!!! But if I had to look @ Rons mustache each week, Id go !

7. if Happy Days was a new show and went head-to-head againts Friends, which show would get better ratings? IMO, Happy Days, because Friends is starting to slack off (not that I watch it). But, if Happy Days (and the Fonz) was as popular then as it would be now, then Happy Days!!

1. For now, you shall know me as...White_Daisy

2. I am a whopping, mature 15 years old.

3. I am from the town that Bill Clinton and co. habit (I've seen him before and shook his hand. he showed up at my local deli when i was in my pj's buying a bagel)

4. I started watching many moons ago when I was still in the single digits.

5. It was so much more happy compared to all these other "who got who pregnant" shows i.e. Friends

6. Well, if the two had stayed there would be a story but then they wouldn't concentrate on everybody's favorite Joanie loves Chachi.

7. Look at answer 5 and replace "happy" with "better"

8. If Ron Howard or Anson Williams popped out of my coat closet to suprise me?
Well, first I'd scream because I would think that they were thieves. I'd continue screaming and probably accidently hit one of them because I'd wonder "Why are there strange old men in my house?" And after I finished all the screaming and hitting and calling the police, I'd start screaming again because I would have realized it's them! Not saying I wouldn't recognize them in the beginning, but I don't stare at every strange man who walks out of my coat closet.

9. I would have liked to see Sticks. They had a good story going there.

2. How old r u?

3. where from?
NJ
4. when did u first watch Happy Days?
Regularly around 1977 0r 78, but I do actually remember some earlier episodes.

5. What did you like so much about it that you would come back to see more?
The Fonz mostly. It was really just such a fun show to watch.

6. if Ron Howard and Don most had stayed, would the series have continued on any further? Objectively, no. While HD may not hav ebeen as good after they left, it did freshen up the show w/new charcters.

7. if Happy Days was a new show and went head-to-head againts Friends, which show would get better ratings?
Tough One. I love HD, but I think people would treat too much as a "nostalgia" show about the 50's. It was a different audience and a different world in the 70's.

8. how would you react if your favorite HD star came to your house to surprise you out of nowherE? That would be really cool if ANy of them did, as it's my all time favorite show. I'd love to get a pic w/Henry Winkler.

9. which guest character would you like to have seen as a REGULAR on HD? Not so much as a regulr, but I owuld have liked to see Pinky again.
