I was wondering what happened to Susan Stafford the original letter turner on Wheel Of Fortune from 1975 to 1982!! Also,why did she leave Wheel Of Fortune???
Also why isn't the Chuck Woolery-Susan Stafford episodes of Wheel Of Fortune on Game Show Network???

I believe she was starting a family and eventually begun some charity work. I know, though, that GSN doesn't have rights to the Woolery episodes...most of the episodes (if not all) are believed to have been destroyed.

Palm Springs Honors Rock Hudson, George Nader

PALM SPRINGS -- Sidewalk stars for two Hollywood pals -- one a legend, the
other a respected actor -- were added side by side Saturday to the Palm Springs
Walk of Stars

-- Stars Unveiled on Walk --

An estimated 200 people attended the star dedication ceremony at 193 South Palm
Canyon Drive, near Arenas Street.

Hudson’s friend and colleague, Dr. Susan Stafford (the original letter-turner
on TV's "Wheel of Fortune"), dedicated his star. Miller and Nader’s cousin,
Sally Kubly, dedicated Nader’s star, but was too emotionally overcome to
speak beyond a “welcome and thank you” to the crowd.

Guests included actor Dick Van Patten, composer Al Kasha, agent Jay Bernstein
and former Rolling Stones manager Ron Schneider.
