I remember reading that Suzanne's house burned down a few years back.
Of course, with the LA wildfires currently it made me remember this.

What really makes me wonder that in the past houses did burn down in LA, yet LA has a shortage of firefighters.

The fires are so big and horrific you could never get enough firefighters to fight them properly. Cities are also short on police officers and school teachers. Society treats them like crap and its hard to find people to take these jobs.
