For the past few days my parents have been having troubles with Youtube on our living room TV and I would like to know if Youtube has been having problems lately? When my parents try to access Youtube on our living room TV it tells them to always sign in with an account and each time it asks this when my parents try to watch Youtube. The strange thing is my Youtube is fine with no problems and the Youtube on our living room TV is the only one that has this problem
Is Youtube trying something new?

You...don't have to sign in on the YouTube app on a smart TV.

I wonder if your parents accidently logged out Hawk?? (That would explain them having to sign in)

No, Dude my parents don't have a Youtube account but the strange thing is only my Youtube has no problems and it's only the TV in my living room that has this problem. My mom thinks that Youtube automatically updated itself the other week and when the update happened it probably messed up Youtube. I can't describe the problem but every time my parents use Youtube the screen looks weird
Thank you very much for your reply Dude

You dont need an account to sign in to youtube. Also the youtube app on the television is gonna look different than it would on a computer.
