I have a cousin who lives North at Palo Atlo (San Franscisco area and another cousin in Fresno.)
My cousin in Palo Atlo believes that many of the fires are being set by arsonists.
There have been about 20-25 fires in the areas that have been put out, but the media is not reporting on.

I have a grandson, who lives in Pasadena (close to the Rose Bowl) He is between Sunset and Easton Fires. The closest fire is about 50 miles, but that is really nothing as fast as the fires can move.

Bonnie has been here but not Carole... Im worried of her and fleet which i dunno if he has been here lately..

I'm in the city of LA, not near the mountains or canyons . Closest one was the Sunset fire and even that's ot that close . But so very windy and scary. And so sad for the people involved. Also really hard to breathe and dry itchy eyes from the smoke.

Caroline is in Santa Monica pretty near Pacific Palisades ! And Fleet, yeah wow hope he is OK, he isn't far at all from the Kenneth fire ! :confused:

When I was 10 yrs old, we moved out of CA. But I remember the Santa Ana winds and fires in the San Gabriel Mts behind us. It was a yearly thing, but this
catastrophic. Prayers to all on Sitcoms living in these areas.

NEW FIRE

The new fire is in the Granada Hills area.
Granada Hills is close to and is Southwest from Hurst Fire.
It is closer to Porter Ranch area.


Some people (like me) are believing that arsonist(S) are involved.

It also looks a lot like what happen in MAUI on Aug 8 2023.


Heard from our grandson, he is fine.
The area he is at was told to evacuate, but an hour and half later, they
cancelled the evacuation. :crazy:

What to know about three major fires are burning Sunday afternoon (1-12-25):

Palisades Fire: Located along the Los Angeles County coast, the largest LA County wildfire and the third-most destructive on record in California began Tuesday in Pacific Palisades and spread to 23,713 acres. Containment is at 11 percent.

Eaton Fire: The 14,117-acre fire started Tuesday night in the hills above Altadena. Located northeast of Los Angeles, the fire is 27-percent contained and the fourth-most destructive fire on record in California

Hurst Fire: The fire in the northern San Fernando Valley also started Tuesday. At nearly 800 acres, the fire in 89-percent contained.

I went thr mass evacuation o my spt Lat Tds nihgt, high high winds and fire sweepint Pacific Palosades...tooo close o my S M hoe.

So my grandson and friend came for me....I stayed at my daughter's place for 4 good but stressful days.

One thing that occurred to me, the big mucky muck authorities continue to call the winds Sant Tana, these winds are cold NORTH winds not hot Sant Ana winds.

Well I won't be . My Husband and Sons are very set out here. They never lived in PA. But if it wasn't for them I just might. Pa. Is beautiful. I wouldn't go back to Philly proper but west of Philly in a smaller town or a cozy suburb.
