In my box I found the debut album of Terri Clark and she is Canada's best kept secret in country music and when I listened to Terri she reminds me of Kathy Mattea and her first single Better Things To Do is so fun with funny lyrics that even mentions Phil Donahue in the lyrics of the song. What's amazing is most of Terri Clark's hits were covers like Jann Arden's Good Mother and Warren Zevon's/Linda Ronstadt's Poor Poor Pitiful Me. And Terri is still a superstar in Canada releasing lots of albums today

I didn't even know who Terri Clark was until I saw her greatest hits album and I decided to buy it and I was amazed that Terri was different from other female country artists and she can really sing like you won't believe and when she sings an upbeat country song she really pours her heart out into it. In fact the singer she reminded me of as I mentioned in my opening post was Kathy Mattea and it surprises me that Terri Clark still is successful in Canada but has made her mark in America quite well
