Whitney Cummings Explains why Sabrina Carpenter was Passed for "Roseanne" Revival

Whitney Cummings was fiery while appearing on CNN‘s New Year’s Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen, taunting the co-hosts.
However, Cohen got the opportunity to make it a little awkward for Cummings, asking her about passing on Sabrina Carpenter for the "Roseanne" revival in 2018.
“No one passes on Sabrina Carpenter for anything,” Cummings told Cohen before explaining, “She came in and she was not a match for a million reasons.”
Cummings told Cohen, “Of course, you’re going to bring up this drama.”
Carpenter auditioned for the role of Harris Conner Healy, Roseanne’s granddaughter and daughter of Sara Gilbert’s Darlene Conner Healy. The role went to Emma Kenney.
Cummings was one of the executive producers of the "Roseanne" revival and served as a showrunner.
