In the 2010's ABC hoped to strike gold in the game show world again with 500 Questions a game show that featured contestants hoping to guess 500 questions with strangers. Though some people called 500 Questions a ripoff of NBC's 1 Vs 100 I think what really messed up 500 Questions was the absence of Richard Quest and replacing Richard with Nightline anchor Dan Harris in Season 2. I also cannot figure out why of all people Richard Quest got to star in 500 Questions? Because when I saw 500 Questions once I found Richard Quest annoying and I can see why ABC replaced him with Dan Harris for 500 Questions second season. But basically I think ABC was hoping for another monster hit game show like Who Wants To Be A Millionaire was in 1999 but it wasn't meant to be

500 Questions was nothing like 1 vs. 100, no mob of 100 the contestants went against every answer. 500 Questions deserved much better ratings. I really liked both seasons, but the first host Richard Quest was better.
