Hi Peko...Welcome. This is such a fun site. I was about 12 when Freddie died, too. I remember hearing that he had shot himself in the head but I was really to young to know why he did it. I remember riding my bike all over the neighborhood feeling sad. I remember it being the first time I had ever prayed. I was devastated when he finally passed on...I actually thought that he would survive.
After 24 years of getting on with life...and missing him all that time...it was comforting to find a place where I could remember him and work through all the grief. There is still alot of grief...but there's laughter associated with it now. So, welcome aboard and feel free to share through laughter and tears.
