Is this pretty well set or is there any possibility it could change? Why is Coach being reduced to four shows a week after only a month? That seems like a pretty fast decision to me. I'm not against the time change, but why fewer shows?

5 shows a week you mean, Sun-Thurs. I think the ratings were bad so far for 1 a.m. or the marathon.

Are the people at Nick@Nite really that stupid then?

Of course ratings would be bad at 1am, so obviously they are going to be even worse at 2am.

They better not cancel this show as I am getting it taped for me as I live in the U.K!!!!!

Why not just put it on at a reasonable 9/10pm slot and get rid of that bloody All in the family crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This really irks me. I've just discovered Coach, and I love it. I don't understand why the show isn't doing well. Most of the episodes are laugh out loud funny. Luther is a riot. Coach Fox is hilarious--the grump with a heart. The entire cast is wonderful. So, it's getting knocked down to once a night at 2am and no weekends? I love the 2 episodes. I tape them and watch with my husband. He loves the show too.
I think if people would give the show a chance, they'd love it. When I read that Coach was coming to N@N, I was bummed, but figured I'd give it a try. I thought it was a show about football. I was so wrong. This is one of the funniest sitcoms I've ever watched.
How did this show do in the ratings during its original run? Anyone know? Thanks.

'Coach' lasted for 9 years, so it did pretty well in the ratings for a long time.

One interesting thing about 'Coach' is that it's creator Barry Kemp also created 'Newhart'. Both shows basically were about guys who seemed to be the most sane person around at times.
