In 2006 Hallmark began marketing their new Holiday line of Christmas ornaments along with the traditional exclusive Christmas album released by a various artist. For 2006 Hallmark decided to use George Strait as their 2006 holiday artist and honored him with a commercial. The commercial begins with a guy listening to a radio when George Strait sings and then the scene cuts to George loading a Christmas tree in his pickup and ends. The album he released titled Fresh Cut Christmas was yours with the purchase of three Hallmark cards. The album itself is truly wonderful and features George Strait singing all new traditional Christmas and carols. I can remember seeing this album in Hallmark stores when it first came out and my mom just had to have simply because she adores George Strait and it's a really wonderful album and worth finding if you love traditional Christmas songs
