That's Amore was an American version of a very popular game show that was originally a hit in Italy. I had never even heard of That's Amore "except for the Dean Martin song" but the format of the show was kind of odd with teams of couples settling bickering arguements for the prize of a ring. And I had no idea why this show existed until my mom and I saw one episode of That's Amore and we couldn't figure out the gameplay. But it is shocking that the same guy who hosted the Italian version got to host the American That's Amore and I think he was hoping to make himself a star in America. But you can see why That's Amore didn't survive because the game show was not worthy of watching. The only clever thing the show had was using Dean Martin's That's Amore in the end credits
