It's hard to believe that CBS hasn't developed a new soap opera since The Bold And The Beautiful was launched in 1987 and I think that with Beyond The Gates CBS will finally get winning ratings for it. Because ever since Guiding Light and As The World Turns ended their runs the only two surviving CBS soaps are The Young And The Restless and The Bold And The Beautiful and now with Beyond The Gates launching in 2025 CBS will prove that this will be the soap opera that will save their soap opera lineup from going belly up. Will Let's Make A Deal be moved to a new time once Beyond The Gates debuts? Because since this is a new soap opera they will most likely do two-hour episodes at first

I am hopeful it will be a success. CBS is really investing quite a bit of money into the series and has selected a great cast. They've cancelled a less expensive series (The Talk) to take its place, so I know the people at the network must have hopes for the series. It will need to be innovative while at the same time lure in long-time soap viewers with great storylines, high production values & wonderful acting. Keeping my fingers crossed!

I showed the trailer of Beyond The Gates to my mom yesterday and she likes the storyline and the setting and really wants to see the first episodes of Beyond The Gates when they debut on Paramount+. I think CBS hopes that Beyond The Gates will be a smart hit and they hope it will be the soap opera fans have been anticipating to see in a long time. I also think Beyond The Gates has also copied ABC's Dynasty because the storyline is similar to Dynasty

When you get the general picture CBS always has smart moves for marketing their soap operas and when The Bold And The Beautiful debuted in 1987 replacing Capitol CBS knew that The Bold And The Beautiful would soon become a success like The Young And The Restless and As The World Turns and Guiding Light had become for them. And now with Beyond The Gates CBS hopes that this new soap opera will be as successful as As The World Turns and last as long as Guiding Light did. Because it's about time that CBS puts a great soap opera that will be a strong winner and Beyond The Gates will prove it

I also think Beyond The Gates will bring CBS huge ratings because as it is the first all-new soap opera being added to CBS in a long time and CBS hopes that Beyond The Gates will be a monster hit and it's hard to believe that Clifton Davis will be in this soap opera because I never knew he was still around so with him as one of the stars will get Beyond The Gates ratings. Who's gonna sing the theme song of Beyond The Gates and is Bradley Bell one of the writers of this soap opera too? Because when William Bell was alive him and Bradley Bell were the top father/son soap opera writing duo

When it comes to CBS and new soap operas I think they promote them a lot to get them ready for a premiere and to hope it will be a hit. With Beyond The Gates I truly think it will be a monster hit given how much hype it's receiving even before it debuts and CBS will finally have the hit soap opera they always wanted

No, I suggest Beyond The Gates will be major flop and it should expect to have shorter life than Passions, Port Charles, Sunset Beach and Generations combined.
