In November of 1987 Macy's launched the first holiday commercial with Snoopy complete with the debut of Macy's Snoopy shopping bag which was seen during December 1987. The commercial was made to promote a holiday plushie of Snoopy who was the mascot for the 1987 Thanksgiving Day Parade and when you made a purchase of $25 or more at Macy's the Snoopy plushie was yours. This commercial is cute and if you're a Snoopy fan this commercial is a collectible item. This commercial also used Macy's old slogan "Macy's A Part Of Your Life" Believe it or not Macy's holiday plushies are still sold today and continue to be popular. But this Snoopy plushie was probably one of their top plushies
