CBS’ "Poppa’s House" Adds Marlon Wayans in Guest Role

CBS‘ "Poppa’s House" is about to become even more of a Wayans family affair.
Marlon Wayans has signed on for a guest role on the first-year comedy, joining his brother Damon Wayans and nephew Damon Wayans Jr. His episode is scheduled to air in February.
In the installment, Marlon will play Melvin, Poppa’s (Wayans Sr.) ne’er-do-well brother who comes to visit the family and pitch a new business idea. Poppa warns everyone not to trust Melvin, but Ivy (Essence Atkins) and Junior (Wayans Jr.) want to believe he’s changed.
The episode will also be a reunion for Marlon Wayans and Atkins, who starred together on NBC’s "Marlon" for two seasons in 2017-18.
