These were two characters who I was not able to take seriously because they were always silly on the show. It was one episode when Ralph had a serious part when his parents were getting a divorce and I was still laughing because I wasn't used to him being serious. Samething with Potsie, when he was sick of his teacher insulting him and stood up and stormed out of the classroom and said "I'm dropping out of school". I was laughng so hard at Potsie trying to be frustrated and mad. But he returned to his normal goofy self when he was singing at the end inside the classroom.-LOL!!-

Well....Im able to take Ralph serious, because he makes jokes, but hes not goofy and dumb like Potsie. Potsie was real easy to take serious the first 2 seasons!

I am able to take them a seriously but sometimes I cnat they are my fav characters Ralph and Potsie 4eva!!!!!!:D

Yeah Potsie was only a little silly in the first two seasons but after that he was Extra Extra Goofy.

Ive always blamed it on Fonzies popularity. Seriously look...the more popular Fonzie became...the dumber Potsie got!
