When you were growing up I bet you remember shopping at an IGA supermarket with your grandparents and yet they still exist today. In the 1980's IGA Supermarket began experimenting with a new slogan with new commercials and the slogan was "IGA Knows What You Want" and this commercial is "I believe" from 1987/88 though it may have been found to debut in 1986. The commercials are in a pink/green background while the IGA logo appears at the end with the slogan. As I mentioned IGA Supermarkets still exist in America and I remember shopping at one with my grandpa when I was a little girl because going to the supermarket with my grandpa was a special joy because I used to help him find what he needed and my reward for a job well done was always cookies. It's rare to find independent supermarket chains today but IGA is one of the supermarket chains that keeps surviving well
