I’ll agree pecan pie is lousy, but the difference is it’s not omnipresent this time of year like pumpkin pie so it’s avoidable.

I love……Sweet potato pie !

Pie shouldn’t be a vegetable.

Yeah I'm definitely NOT in the current day "I-don't-eat-that" group. I like pretty much everything, except I'm not fond of dill pickles, which everyone else seems to be, and I've never seen what's so appealing about the whole dill pickle craze that swept the country. Its like, "Eww yuck pumpkin pie!", "Gross, I don't do eggnog!", etc... "Huh? Dill pickle chocolate ice cream!?! I'd try it!" lol

Same here . I can only take it in small doses. I used to love eggnog, but the last couple of years/ Christmases I can't really drink too much of it. Too sweet and heavy , can only drink a very little at a time. ;)

Pecan Pie rules! I was in my mid-20s before I ever had it, where had it been all my life, heavenly!

Here's how I'd list my Top 10 sweet pies by preference, I like all of these though. So not including savory ones like Chicken Pot Pie:

1. Pecan
2. Cherry, Blueberry, & Blackberry
3. Chocolate - any type, & Boston Cream
4. Lemon Meringue & Key Lime
5. Apple & Dutch Apple
6. Banana Cream & Coconut Cream
7. Pumpkin
8. Pineapple
9. Peach
10. Sweet Potato

Some I've never had a chance to try: Huckleberry, Marionberry, Shoofly, and Frito.

Yeah, it's one of those things you don't need to try to know you don't like it. For me, like beets.

But, on pumpkin, yes, but gotta have a lot of whipped cream on it.

I know what you mean, most eggnog's today just don't have the same taste, except one.

We have found one eggnog that taste very close to what it tasted years ago.
Try to find:

The only eggnog that I can find with red stripes is a mix know as

I don't really like carrot cake. I used to but one time a few years ago I got a bad piece. It was overly sweet and not very good quality and kind of turned me off to carrot cake.
