I had missed the news that actress Lisa Brown, who played the Emmy-nominated roles of Nola Reardon on Guiding Light and Iva Snyder on As the World Turns passed away on November 24, at the age of 67:

Nola Reardon. Wow, did I love that character, and thought it was very cool that Lisa brought her back for the end of Guiding Light. I miss that show so much, and the antics of Nola and Quinton (the episode where they went bowling comes to mind).

And how she tried to trick Kelly into marrying her by thinking the baby she was pregnant with was his!

Ah yes. These days that's a worn-out storyline, but back then it was breakthrough and uncalled for. That made Nola look like the most evil of devils!

Nola's "Jane Eyre" dream sequence with Quint is considered a classic! Sad that Michael Tylo who played Quint died last year as well. :(
