The legendary actor and Tony and Grammy nominee has signed on to the CBS soap opera alongside Alex Alegria, Lauren Buglioli, Ben Gavin, Jibre Hordges, Jen Jacob and Mike Manning.

Actually adding a soap? All the networks have done in the last several years is cancel them and send one off to streaming.

Also interesting is adding Clifton Davis to the cast. He's 79 years old, and soaps are mostly exclusive territory for younger actors.
