that is incorrect. no episode ran long like that.

Obviously a 6.5 hour marathon, they just didn't separate the half hour listings. The longest episode of a sitcom that all aired at once is probably the 2.5 hour series finale of M*A*S*H.

I think it was just the one episode that originally ran for the usual 30 minutes, but you know how syndication likes to edit and add more commercial time....

there is no way a thirty minute episode can be padded with commercials to equal 6 hours. come on!

Do you count sitcom reunion movies (Return to Mayberry)? Multi-part episodes (Fonzi jumps the shark)? Extra length finales (MASH)? Extra length pilots (Flying Nun)? Arcs (Beverly Hillbillies)? Crossovers (Beverly Hillbillies / Petticoat Junction /Green Acres)? Specials (Eunice)? Compilations (The I Love Lucy Movie)? Or theatrical spinoffs (Munster Go Home)?
