An I Love Lucy Thanksgiving:

(Lucy is pacing in the kitchen. Ethel comes in.)

Ethel: “Hi Lucy!”

Lucy: “Oh Ethel, I am in a terrible jam. I need to cook a Thanksgiving dinner for the Wednesday Afternoon Fine Arts League Thanksgiving dinner. I asked Ricky to do it for free yesterday and he said he has a show at the Club Babalu.”

Ethel: “Lucy, why did you wait until this morning, Thanksgiving morning? Why couldn’t you tell him sooner?”

Lucy: “I just didn’t feel like it. That’s all and don’t give me that: ‘Never procrastinate.’ I get that enough from Ricky. Now, do you have money from Fred for us to get the food?”

(A pause.)

Ethel: “What do YOU think?”

Lucy: “Looks like we have to go to the dollar store.”

(They do and get the food.)

(They arrive at the Wednesday Afternoon Fine Arts League Thanksgiving dinner at 3p and start cooking in a rush manner. Meanwhile, Ricky & Fred arrive at the dinner table.)

Ricky: “Good thing that my show got canceled at the last minute. I want to spend Thanksgiving dinner here.”

Fred: “Me too even though Ethel will eat 90% of the food.”

(Ricky laughs.)

(Because Lucy & Ethel are in a rush, they make major mistakes which cause a major fire. Ricky sees the smoke and is shocked.)

(Everyone has to evacuate as Lucy brings out her poor excuse of a turkey dinner that is all burnt.)

Marion Strong: “Lucy, we are lucky if we don’t kick you out.”

Ricky: “Lucy, what did I toal you about procrastinatin’?”

Lucy: “You TOAL me never to do that? Now, at least I didn’t get kicked out. Look at the bright side. I’ll look back on this someday and laugh.”

(Lucy laughs.)

Marion: “Lucy, you are OUT of the league.”

Lucy: “Hahaha…ewwwwww!”

(The end.)
