Tug of Words with its new host Samantha Harris has its season premiere on November 14, will air weekdays at 3:30PM. Chain Reaction repeats will lead into it at 3:00, which means 25 Words or Less is off the schedule. The Chase (repeats of GSN version) returns to weekdays, this time at 5PM eastern replacing the Chain Reaction hour. Everything else remains the same. The strange thing: The Chase returning was just advertised during the new People Puzzler. I only found out about the new Tug of Words season after checking the listings for what else was coming. Samantha had a bunch of breast cancer PSAs in October, but I only ever saw one ad for the new season.

Burns version of The Chase returning on 11/14 is a surprise

Samantha Harris already has more personality on one Tug of Words episode than Ahmad Rashad ever did, also pretty and a nice voice. I can see why she was so popular on Dancing with the Stars. It is too bad GSN is burying the new season at 3:30 instead of 6:30 after new People Puzzlers, but with my orchestra schedule I can see more of the 3:30 episodes.

If Zap2it is correct, tomorrow is Tug of Words' last episode at 3:30PM. Starting Monday new episodes move to 8AM. :mad: Ahmad Rashad's season didn't get treated this poorly. Return of The Chase didn't last long either, Chain Reaction takes back the 5PM hour. Regular afternoon lineup returns with Match Game at 1:00 and America Says at 2:00. A 3rd America Says follows at 3:00, then People Puzzler at 3:30 where Tug of Words was. What's My Line? and I've Got a Secret air in the 3AM hour.
