In 1995 Big Lots launched it's very first Christmas commercial in history and marked a milestone for Big Lots to promote Christmas in it's commercials. The animated commercial begins with Big Lots first mascot Closeout Man as Santa Claus talking about all the great holiday bargains you'll find at Big Lots and the animation is so cool almost like a comic strip style. It's very surprising how Big Lots was big on Christmas sales in the 90's though the commercials have changed today they still bring a sense of holiday spirit every holiday season
