I saw "Young at Heart" (again) last night on MeTV. The 20th episode of the classic 39, the one where Ralph takes Alice roller skating.
One thing has always stood out to me about this episode, the audience sounds very young, like there are a lot of teenagers in the audience. They can be heard shouting several things, like "Don't fall down" when Ralph talks about dancing, and "Steady now!" when he's on the skates. It's a very vocal crowd.
Early in the episode, there is a teenage couple featured, who visit Ralph and Alice's apartment. I'm not sure who the actors are. But maybe some of their family and friends came to watch the taping, and that would explain why the crowd sounds so young? I've never noticed any other episode where the crowd sounds so young.
