From the depths of pain comes laughter, and Freddie Prinze
was one whose comedic mask hid sadness,
stepping out of the railways in the dank of the big city, to a fancy, fashionable ride in the bright lights of stardom,
Funny was his middle name, and the young comic was blessed with a series,
he bantered along with an old vet as if he was one himself,
he made people laugh, a great gift he shared often,
and when the sadness came, he wanted to forget his name and his fame, and be the guy he used to be,
He had it all, was it enough ? He tried hard and yet remained
tough,
But one day when all perspective was tossed, this great comedian went and got lost,
To his memory, he is remembered to this day, for the joy and laughter he brought us,
Thanks, Freddie, for coming our way:wave:
