Today i watched the final episode of Season 7 on TNN which was "Borrowing Money" and then i watched the next episode-"Jack Be Quick or something like that on TNN which was the first episode of season 8. And it was a major difference in Janet's face-I can't put my finger on it but it was like almost like i was looking at a different person in season 8. I was wondering did something happen during the summer of 1983 to joyce dewitt? I always wanted to know why she looked so different in the last season. Can someone help me with this.

I noticed that too. I think her nose looks smaller, In my opinion.

I thought that this disscussion came up before and that Joyce got plastic surgery on her nose..I'm not sure though.

I knew it was something-So dewitt didn't like her nose? I always knew it was something that made it looked so different that last season

Im not sure about the nose thing but it is the way she wore her makeup...... she tended to wear more eyelyner in seasons 4-7... I know becuause I can wear my makeup different ways and look like a totally different person....

It was mainly her eyes that looked different. I guess it had something to do with the surgery

yeah that is what I was talking about...her eyes looked different b/c of her eyelyner....

I don't like the Janet of season at all. Only seasons 1 to7

Janet got a face lift.. if you watch her forehead.. her nose and eyes were all done..

she looks like she was 10 years younger in less then one year.

In the last two seasons, for some reason Janet seems to be shorter then me. I know it's not because of surgery lol. Is it just me, or does anyone else feel this way?

probably because she didn't wear heels as much as she did in the earlier seasons

I'm not positive, but I think that Joyce is 5'3".

I know in the later seasons, she wore A LOT of make-up. When Chrissy was on the show, she barely EVER wore seeable make-up.

It was. She must've grown it out during the summer taping hiatus.

Isn't it obvious that she got a nose job and face lift? Also, who changed their hair more often than Janet? Was a smart choice though, much like Madonna or Michael Jackson.

IF she did it certainly didn't work. In some scenes in season 8 she looks noticeably OLDER than previously seasons!

Yeah, she looked older in season 8. There are some scenes in season 8 where she looks older than Jack & Terri.
