In 1991 we were introduced to a singer from Brasil named Deborah Blando who released her debut album A Different Story. The first single was a cover of The Miracles hit Boy Why You Wanna Make Me Blue and when you listen to Deborah Blando she will remind you a lot of Cyndi Lauper and Deborah really did have a wonderful voice. The second single was an English language version of her Portuguese language hit titled Innocence and is a beautiful ballad and you also will hear Deborah Blando sing Portuguese on a rocking version of the song Brasil. This album seemed to be Deborah Blando's lone English language album and Deborah Blando seemed to disappear after that which is a shame because she does have an awesome voice and if there is a list of forgotten 90's singers Deborah Blando would be at the top of the list
