In 2024, Remembrance of the Daleks (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remembrance_of_the_Daleks) received (optional) new effects for its Blu-ray release. Alongside this was a Special Edition edit of the story, which features additional effects shots, re-edited and extended sequences, a completely new cliffhanger for Part 3, a reworked sound mix and reinserted untransmitted material.
