OMG! Yesterday I went to go see "Tuck Everlasting" with my sisters. Anyway, 5 mins into the show, this girl who was sitting next to me and looked like she was 12, told her sister the whole story. everything, the plot, everything that happens. and everything 5 mins, she'd explain want would happen in the next scene or whatever. i knew what was gonna happen in the movie before the first 10 mins. then she did it again and i started to cough and she got it and decided to shut up. ppl. like this are soo annoying. has this ever happened to anyone?

I have pretty much given up on going to see movies in theaters. It boggles my mind that people can't shut the heck up for more thatn five minutes to watch a movie.
How hard is it to set your cell phone to vibrate?
If you're going to laugh and joke with your friends, and not even pay attention to the screen, why the !#@$ did you pay ten bucks to get into the theater?
When did pointing a laser pointer at the screen become so damn amusing?

I wil try to attend a showing of a movie at the earliest time possible, just so I don't have to put up with the crowds. This summer I saw Spiderman at 9:30 in the morning! Laugh if you must, but there were only ten people in the theater, and we all watched the movie in peace.

I'm a pretty easy going guy, but I have no patience for anyone who distracts me in a theater.

That is so annoying. It doesn't matter if you get up and move to another seat, because you'd probably have another person sitting behind you that spoils the whole movie.

When i was seeing star wars episode 2 this guy in the row mbehind me was breathing really loud. grr it was annoying

When I went to 'Bean', there was this guy right in front of me that must was snoring the whole time. I don't know how he slept though, that movie was hilarious.

When I went to see Crossroads with Elizabeth, there were these kids who were swearing REALLY loud.... ugh it was so annoying!

Haha then when I went to see Monsters, Inc. there were these 2 people making out during the WHOLE movie... I was like, ew...

When my friends went to see Signs there were these girls who were screaming... and when Alex [my friend] saw The Banger Sisters, she had this... long story, she screamed during a really serious part.

There is one thing that bugs me when I go to the movies. There is always some lady in the theater who is cracking up way to much. And laughs way to hard.

I was at one film where this guy's phone rings and he answers it, and began an involved conversation right there in the theater. Someone else beat me to the demand: "TAKE IT OUTSIDE!"

The guy got the message!

But, sheesh, you'd think people would have more consideration for others.

Well, I can top all of those. My mom made me take my little brother to the movies with me and my 2 friends (he comes everywhere with us), I think it was Rush Hour 2, I dont know. Anyways, my little brother kept pretending to speak chinese, making the rest of the theater laugh at him. And when Chris Tucker would say something funny, he would laugh really hard and start coughing. Then he started bothering the people in fron of us, and putting his feet up on the chair. Then some guy across the theater was like, "Will you shut the **** up?" And him and my brother went back and forth with insults. I threatened him to stop several times, but it was too late when the security guard came in and told us all to leave. We didn't even get our money back. OMG! That was so embarrassing!!

A friend and I were in a theatre one time and these two guys starting arguing very loudly in the back of the theatre and it was getting ugly. The security guards came and took them both out.
I was getting kinda nervous. Audience participation is fun though. Especially watching horror movie.... We like to go to the late shows.

Well, once I was out with my cuz at Goldmember and these ppl behind us kept on changing seats, talking LOUD, running up and down the aisles, throwing shoes, using SQUIRTGUNS. I got out of my seat and stepped on two of the guy that were in the same row as us.

But I can be just as bad, me and 4 other friends went to see "Sweet Home Alabama" and my friend Meg and I...were AWFUL. We were talking really loud and swearing a lil too much, we had our feet up on seats in front of us and kept on tapping our feet to the songs, we song along to "Hella Good" by No Doubt, we laughed at the dumbest stuff, we got shushed, and I got a huge bruise on my leg from attempting to climb over my seat to the next row which was empty so I could go to the bathroom, I ended up going out my row and climbing over ppl. I was able to get over the chairs on the way bak from the bathroom tho. NEwayz, I guess I shouldn't complain about ppl being obnoxious in the movie theatre, I'm pretty much just as bad

I don't use a cell phone, but IMO, many people who use them only want attention. That's why they don't put them in vibrate or silent mode. They want everybody to know everytime they get a call. In their mind, it makes them seem more important. Not only they are distractive with their cellphone ringer, but they talk out loud so everybody can hear what they are saying. It is really annoying to everyone that is trying to watch the movie.

As for the people that talk throughout the whole movie telling what's going to happen next, it's the same thing, they only want attention. They want the people around them to know that they know everything, including the whole movie.

These people don't even mind the nasty stares that annoyed people give them. To them, the more attention the better.

That makes sense. I'm sorry, but cell phones are irritating. I can understand having and using one if your car breaks down in the middle of nowhere, or even in emergencies. However it's dumb to use cell phones if you call your boyfriend or girlfriend that you are about to visit and talk to them.

If anybody had an ounce of decency, they would go out to the lobby to talk on their cell phone.

It's bad enough you're disturbing the other theatergoers, but now you're pretending it's not you making all the noise!

One time, some idiot let his phone ring about ten or twelve times, my friend yells out "Would you like me to get that?"
It was a terrible movie anyway, so it was probably the only laugh the audience got that afternoon.

Exactly! Cell phone should be used only for practical purposes. If people must talk on their cell phone, they need to be considerate of others.

I'm bad at the movies with my friends i miss most of movie but it was only 2 bucks to get in. anyhow when there was this sad part one time everyone behind me was cryin so i busted out laughin and the back of theater heard me.i throw popcorn at ppl,i dump popcorn out when im in the front row and skate on the butter,i crawl under the screen and watch the movie backwards (thats always fun) and i get up to smoke every five minutes

I went to see The Cell when it came out one Saturday morning
and some kids (who happened to be black) at the ticket window asked me if I could be their "guardian" because they were underage. Uhhhhh... something was up, so the clerk confirmed my suspicions: they were underage and needed a parent--and unfortunately, I didn't fit the bill.:rolleyes: So I got my ticket and went in, and wouldn't you know it, 15 minutes later, they found a person (NOT a parent, I assume) who brought them in to see the movie. Now I suppose these kiddies wanted to see Puff Daddy's bitch--I mean, GIRLFRIEND (at the time) in this movie, but I really wonder about this person masquerading as these kids' parent.
This movie had some of the most gruesome scenes and freaky
lurid stuff going on that would give kids nightmares for weeks.
EXCUSE ME, BUT JUST BECAUSE A MOVIE HAS AN R-RATING DOESN'T MEAN YOU SHOULD ALLOW KIDS TO SEE IT IF YOU'RE THE SO-CALLED RESPONSIBLE PARENT OR GUARDIAN!!!!:mad:

I liked the movie, though.

When i was at JP3 i brot my gameboy and i was playin it cuz i was bored and the guy in the movie's weird phone rang and my mom thot it was my gameboy and shes all TURN THAT OFF RIGHT NOW lol
