View Full Version : Behind the Story Circle Scenes Luckymama58 10-13-2002, 08:52 AM This is de place for your questions and comments about the new story circle thread! BTW I can't wait to see what you all will write!!! Joy 10-15-2002, 10:41 AM In Mariposa's post where Chico is trying to distract Ed to find away to get the girl out before ed finds her, I love the way it sounds(the picture it creates in my mind) of chico standing over her as she sits on the couch and demands to know what is going on. He sounds so sexy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pitooey 10-17-2002, 09:27 AM Okay Folks............ I want to know, Am I doing it right (The story)???? Is this how we're suppose to play it? Joy 10-17-2002, 09:37 AM yep your doin great! MariposaLKB 10-17-2002, 10:14 AM I try to portray Freddie as sexy in every situation, even interrogating a fugitive LOL! Of course the picture in MY mind is from the girl's perspective--when she looks up at him, what would be at her eye level?  :D Joy 10-17-2002, 11:11 AM :I hear ya eek:  :rotflmao: :eek2: Cheryl Harrell 10-17-2002, 05:32 PM You all are doin great. I, however in what little I wrote probably stunk... Luckymama58 10-17-2002, 07:36 PM You all are doing a fantastic job. I can't post for a while, I have a very busy weekend ahead of me.... HS homecoming weekend and our Apple Harvest Festival. My girls have me held hostage all weekend :( Pitooey 10-17-2002, 07:51 PM You know what I like about this CATM story. That I get to play different characters. It's fun...... Cheryl Harrell 10-18-2002, 03:33 AM Have fun this weekend! maybe you can sneak away & get on the puter. My trick when I'm short on computer time is to get online late at nite... We're enjoying the story so far... Danisel331 10-18-2002, 04:21 AM Oh y'all so funny with your stories going on here. I had one suggestion that came to me for a little more comedy. For the two policemen in the garage at the moment, how about making them the two police officers from Sanford and Son? I can't remember their names, but I know one of them was Smitty. I thought it would be funny to have them reassigned to the barrio instead of the ghetto. Just a suggestion!:) Pitooey 10-18-2002, 08:57 AM Dani Why don't you jump in and show us how? I've seen Sanford and Son but, I don't remember those policeman. How do they act? Cheryl Harrell 10-18-2002, 02:52 PM I rermember those 2! They are Officer Smitty (Smith) & Officer Hoppy. Smitty was the black guy & the the serious one. Hoppy was the jokative one & could never get the hip ghetto language right.. He would mispronouce things like when he wanted to say get down, it was get up, or Right On would be Right Up or something. Theyw ere a real riot. Officer Hoppys mom was played by Miss Jane Hathaway (Nancy Kulp) of the Beverly Hillbillies. She wound up renting a room at the Sanford Arms from Fred & Lamont. As you've guess I've enjoyed watching SANFORD & SON over the yrs. They are the reason I saw the very first CATM episode back in 1974. I left the tv on NBC after SANFORD that nite. :) Those 2 would be a real hoot in the story... Danisel331 10-19-2002, 04:17 AM Thanks Ms Cheryl! I could not remember his name for anything! :thought: I remembered how I used to laugh so much when he would mess up his ghetto language.:rotflmao: Cheryl Harrell 10-19-2002, 05:42 AM Glad to help! He was a real riot LOL! :) Luckymama58 10-22-2002, 07:14 PM WOW you all are doing a fantastic job. I only wish I had time to join in. :( Those of you who are people who pray, add me to your prayer list. The stress level has just gone from high to through the roof here. I get to thinking that joining Freddie might be a good idea, and I know that isn't the answer, but if something doesn't give here soon, well....... (I am serious here, PRAY HARD Por Favor!) Gracias and keep up the good work with the story. It really does make my day to see how creative you all are! Karen64 10-22-2002, 08:45 PM Luckymama, please hang in there, girl! I'm praying for you! Remember, us girls are tough!:) Pitooey 10-22-2002, 09:13 PM I agree with Karen. I know it's tough and very stressful but, you will be strong because we're rooting for you!!! You have my prayers.............. Cheryl Harrell 10-23-2002, 04:37 AM Oh wow, sorry to hear things aren't going so well for you. I know it must be rough handling teaching & a family etc.. Please don't think of joining Freddie. We want you here. We love your fan fictions & pictures! We love all the pictures on the site & the fan fictions too! Everyone is so creative except me... We really need ya here. Hang in there... I know what it's like to be depressed. I think I may be suffering from depression from my diabetes & it's not pretty. Staying tired, sluggish & washed out from the disease & the meds I take from it & being depressed from it. I love to sleep late. Now I have trouble getting up in the day even tho I slept late. I see stuff that needs doing around the house & haven't the get up & go to do it. When you say you're depressed people just don't understand. They are like just cheer up or oh if you'd get a better attitude you wouldn't be so depressed. Believe me that won't work. It's probably clinical so I am hanging in there & trying to hold on the best I can. I sometimes wonder if maybe what attracted me to Freddie was he was depressed & I understand how he felt. There have been times where I've wondered if I would be better off being with Freddie in heaven but I would never end things for I have to be here for my hubby Mike who is diabetic too & I want to live & enjoy things. Maybe if you got involved in the story circle maybe that might help or looking at some Freddie pics. He can brighten the moment... Anyway said a prayer for ya & hope things go better for ya. Hang in there! We're rooting for ya! Luckymama58 10-23-2002, 06:13 AM Thank you so much, guys. I know I will be OK as soon as some of this stuff on my already overloaded plate are over. I am just overwhelmed with things these days. Being I have a job where I am responsible for too many things (Unit coordinator; Science, Social Studies and Math Leision; and Tech committee) as well as all of my other regular teaching duties and the after school choir, it has me hopping. Coupled with my home responsiblilties (Two teenage daughters, one in soccer and working and the other in drama and neither one driving yet) and this house I have to sell and another I am building, I have no time to breathe. I want to work on this story in the worst way.... after all I started it and I didn' t want you all to think I abandoned you. My Freddie activities and friends are my sanity most days, believe me. My hubby keeps telling me I have to start saying NO to people, but that is against my nature. I love helping out. I think the thing that really was the last straw last night was my 14 year old got a ride home from practice but came home late and didn't have an opportunity to tell us what was up with that. With this sniper in our area (I live close to DC) I was imagining all sorts of things. She is home safe and I wasn't mad at her, it was not her fault what happened, but all I could do was hug her and cry, I was so relieved. Sorry for going on about this. My Freddie family is always so understanding, so I don't seem to mind telling you all this. Keep up the great writing and all the pictures too. It does my heart good to say I am friends with such a caring and creative bunch of people. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!!!!! :) Pitooey 10-23-2002, 11:01 PM [Originally posted by Cheryl Harrell Everyone is so creative except me... We really need ya here. Hang in there... Hang in there! We're rooting for ya! Cheryl........... I think in a way we all suffer from some type of depression. Life is very hard at times. My hubby has the same thing as you so I know how it must be for you. Keep your chin up and pray to the Lord. So what if you can't do everything. Let it go........ That's what I do when I'm sitting in front of the computer. This place gives me my peace and solace that I need to deal with the stress that's all around me. I'm just Thankful that I have my computer to go to.... Cheryl Harrell 10-24-2002, 07:10 AM Thanks for the support ya'll! I know what Jennylee is going thru with her hubbys diabetes cuz my hubby has it too! So I have to deal with him having it & now me having it. Not fun but we survive. & Yep we both have faith in God & pray too! That really helps. The worst thing for me is being so tired all the time. I hate that. Yuck... I sure hope Luckymama is doing better. We're rooting for ya! Hang in there. Sounds like maybe you need to say no to some things so you can have more time for yourself. Jennylee's right. This place & hanging out on my other message baords & reading stuff online takes me away from the stress of life. I can just read about Freddie & get lost in it & escape my troubles for a while. Needless to say I'm online alot. To those going thru a rough time right now, we're rooting for ya. We're all in this together...
