Is it obvious what Rob's doing at the end of the show, when he asks a few questions and then divides the hair dryer, vacuum, projector, and rotisserie between Millie and Laura?

Is that what was going on? I always got the impression there was some joke going on there that I didn't quite understand.

I know Rob's fondness of projectors was mentioned elsewhere in the series. In one episode, he thinks Laura is getting him a new projector and is excited about it. And I seem to recall him setting up a projector in that or another episode. I'm wondering if that was after this episode, and this would be the projector they were using?
