Someone on another board brought up a good point. It was never explained what exactly kind of help they provided. Job counseling? Domestic violence, cash assistance?
I remember someone asked.......What kind of help you got?
Somebody else argued (https://web.archive.org/web/20140406110241/http://forums.televisionwithoutpity.com/topic/3059003-the-jeffersons-were-moving-on-up/page-4#entry13431204) that weakest episodes of The Jeffersons (https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/137198-the-jeffersons-general-discussion/) were the ones where Louise worked at the Help Center. Simply put, anytime a show tries to be "relevant", it's the kiss of death (https://web.archive.org/web/20061031125210/http://www.jumptheshark.com/j/jeffersons.htm). And the show (https://www.fanforum.com/f129/jeffersons-3-they-kept-us-laughing-63276269/) as a result, becomes extremely dated in reruns.
