I was listening to my copy of Cher's Believe album and found a song of hers called The Power and I also found out that it was first sung by Amy Grant in her House Of Love album from 1994. The Power was written by Tommy Sims and Judson Spence and I didn't know that this song was an Amy Grant song because I first heard Cher sing The Power and her version is good. I noticed that Amy Grant changes the bridge on her version of The Power to "it don't long to understand just how amazed I am" and Cher sings lucky in place of amazed on her version

I think Amy Grant's version of The Power is better than Cher's but it was a surprise that on the House Of Love album that Amy Grant did lots of songs that became covers for other artists. Like another song that Amy sang Oh How The Years Go By later became a hit for Vanessa Williams in 1997. But was The Power released as a single for Amy Grant as well?
