Welp time for another Scooby Doo video this Halloween. Last year I covered Witch's Ghost and how it was perfect for the season. But I want to cover something else. Those weird '80s Scooby Doo movie I feel have largely just been thrown to the wayside. Namely Boo Brothers, Ghoul School, and Reluctant Werewolf. A part of Hannah Barbera's Superstar 10 made for TV movies that a lot of people might remember but have largely become irrelevant especially in the modern franchise that solidified itself after the Renaissance brought by Scooby Doo in Zombie Island. They're just those weird movies with Shaggy, Scooby, and Scrappy hanging out with real monsters and just meander around. But I want to go back to these old movies and see if any of them hold up. Are there any redeeming qualities, should they be remembered, or should they really just be forgotten as a product of the time when the studio didn't know what to do with itself.
