Roger Davis returned on today's 10:30 AM episode! *le sigh* I wish Dan Curtis had spared us the torture. His current character (Ned Stuart) is only on three weeks and I've read is his worst character. But then comes 1897 and he comes back as Dirk Wilkins. From what I've read he was the best of his characters.

LOL Nope, not yet. But his pushiness has kicked in. Today when he arrived at Collinwood he said to Carolyn 'may I come in?' and walked right in before he answered. He later did that to Barnabas and Julia

Why did they bring him back for? Did the show ever explain what happen to Jeff? Was he really Peter and got sent back to his own time?

Yeah, Jeff was a person who looked like Peter and the soul of Peter Bradford took over his body is what I've gathered from it.

On another note, I'm reading Dark Shadows Memories by Kathryn Leigh Scott and Roger Davis mentions in it that Alexandra Moltke fed him some of his lines in certain scenes. Especially during the scenes where Vicki and Jeff/Peter kissed.

Roger (Jeff) never knew most of his lines? Did Alexandra hate Roger? I remember you saying she and other women on the show couldn't stand him.

He knew his lines, but sometimes he would forget 'em. Alexandra, Kathryn, and some of the others couldn't stand him. He almost knocked Marie Wallace over during a scene and he knocked over Joan Bennett during rehersals once.

Also, Alexandra was VERY nearsighted so she had to learn her script well because she was the only cast member who couldn't read the TelePrompTer. In real life she wore glasses.

Seriously, how long have you been a fan of this show? You seem like you have been a fan since it started. Is there any pictures of Alexandra wearing her glasses?

LOL. I just got one of the DS books today (I'm getting another one and the first DVD set for Christmas) and the beginning of it is by Alexandra Moltke. I remember seeing a few pictures of her from behind-the-scenes wearing glasses. I'll try to find 'em.

I am hoping on getting Collection 1 this Christmas to. I would love to see how Barnabas comes into the show. Davids mother in the show did she die? I read she was possessed by a spirit named Phoenix, which is a very popular evil name might I add :) , anyways is that on Collection 1? I hope they release episodes 1 - 209 soon. Those episodes tell how the show really began.

It happened before #210. She was a phoenix, a mythical creature that burns itself to death everyone 100 years and then rises a new from the ashes. Very interesting IMO.

A picture of Alexandra in 1971 with glasses is here: http://www.barnabascollins.com/3am/daytv1.html

It's an article about the wrap party for the last episode. Alexandra and Nancy Barrett went together since they are very close friends (Nancy was Alexandra's maid-of-honor at her 1967 wedding to Phillip Henry Isles)
