Its a tradition for me to type out and decorate my list with each year having a different host presenting my list to my mother. 2 years ago it was *Johhny Bravo* last year it was *Conan*. Yes, I have too much time on my hands, but her friends get a kick out of it! I always make my list in November

My parents rarely get me what I ask for, so I just stopped asking a few years ago. :rotflmao: Actually I am getting what I really want for Christmas, my whole family is gonna fly out here and visit me!

I don't wanna be a downer but I hate Christmas. Every year it's just me and my parents -same as every other bloody day of the year!
We open our presents in the morning and then we avoid each other untill about 4pm when we have Xmas dinner. Then I just retreat to my room for the rest of the day and get unbelievably drunk.
I want a GameCube for Xmas but my parents are complete cheapskates and they think that 130 quid is lot of money, so they'll never buy me a GameCube. I'm just gonna buy myself one.
I don't give a sh#t what I get for Xmas but my girlfriend says she's gonna buy me a Stitch (from Lilo and Stitch) toy so I'm looking forward to getting that! :D

Well then I'll be a downer with you, because I strongly dislike any special occasion of the year in which I need to see even MORE then I already see of my extended family...

Seriously, Christmas is big in my family. We alllllllll get together and open presents together and have Christmas Eve at my grandparents house and have Christmas dinner at my aunts house and my God, a week ago my mother told me that we're having this HUGE family reunion-Christmas party 2 weeks before Christmas! My WHOLE grandmother's side which is easily over 200 people! You've gotta be bullshíttin me...

Well come to think of it, I DO like the day AFTER Thanksgiving when my aunt takes me up to Thornes Market, in Northampton... she buys me whatever I want... gotta love that place.

Ya I want a bunch of stuff from Amazon, but for some reason my dad has a problem with internet shopping, while my mother is just like "Oh what the hell, get whatever you want" then she forks over the card...

Just wait till you're old enough to get your own card. Trust me - it's a shopper's paradise! :D
When I got my first pay check I blew it all in less than 5 days!

I don't even come up with lists anymore. I prefer money instead of presents. Then I can go on ebay and spend it. One thing I bought one time was a Rod Serling ashtray. That ashtray is so cool. It has Serling's face at the bottom of it. Seriously, do you think I would ever be able to get a Serling ashtray in this town?

Wow a scrooge! I hope you aren't visited by 3 ghosts this year. :D

Anyways I got a whole list of stuff I want for Christmas and I bet I will get 4 of the things I want. My mom doesn't like to celebrate Christmas, she used to love it but like they say ***** happens!

Ya'll are probably gonna hate me for interjecting my opinion but I agree with Lorna in a sort of way. I do hate Christmas. But for different reasons. I mean for me, Christmas lost it's original premise. It's all about advertising for stores and having huge sales and trying to get people to buy as much as they can. It's just all about giving and no one realizes the real reason for the season. You all will probably really trully hate me for my next statement but it's annoying as hell when people who don't believe in God celebrate Christmas. I know it's about family, but if you don't believe in a God then why are you celebrating a holiday celebrated by Christians and Jews? If you claim there is no God, then why celebrate Christmas? There might have not been a Christmas if Jesus wasn't born. I know you all will jump on me on this and I don't blame you, but I'm sorry that I feel this way.

And back to the topic, I don't make a Chjristmas list because my parents don't give me Christmas presents. They give all the kids and adults in my family presnets but tell me that I'm at an age where I don't need any presents. I mean I don't care, but it does hurt at times.

I wont allow myself to have one:rolleyes: . The only one Ill be getting is a Visa-Checking..not a credit card, comes straight form my savings. NO BILLS!!:D

I TOTALLY believe with Chris (OP). People who arent religious shouldnt celebrate Christmas or any religious holiday!! If you dont believe in God but celebrate Christmas...what about Easter??? I know a lot of YOU might not believe in God, but your parents might so thats understandable. You dont see me celebrating Kwanzaa.

i like the mood of christmas way better than the gifts and stuff.. just the whole cheery, jolly, sit inside in the warmth while the beatiful snow falls feeling is the best. And its so relaxing because I have absolutely no homework since finals are the last two days before break.
