Hurricane Milton is now a category 5 storm, bearing down on Florida, fully weaponized with sustained winds of 180 mph.

Most modern-built homes can only survive winds up to 140 mph. So this isn't going to be good at all.

What do you mean by “weaponized?” I hope you’re not implying this hurricane is somehow engineered.

Any changes on this disaster to be, I used to watdh hurricanes on TV when I watched tv, but don't watch it anymore. Is the hurricane still expected to be horrific?????

This Hurricane is really predicted to be bad. Milton is a category 5 ! And right on the heals of Helene which hit really bad, but mainly in Tennessee and North Carolina . Milton is predicted to hit in the Tampa Bay area really hard and all the gulf coast will be affected. The whole state of Florida is storming and majorly windy. Really scary !

Saying prayers , this is a major hurricane ! This is real ,not exaggerated or to do with politics. It's an act of nature, a natural disaster ! Praying for all the people there . I have family in the Orlando area. They are saying , so far so good , not in the direct path but still it's nerve-wracking!

If you truly cared about your friends and your brother, you wouldn’t be spreading such harmful disinformation about the storm or politicizing it.

You and Caroline are implying that a hurricane is man-made, which would be hilarious on its face if it wasn’t essentially blood libel against Jewish people, who are often the victims of these conspiracy theories, and Democrats, who are being blamed for these two storms by the usual suspects. There’s no such thing as a weather machine, and Atlantic hurricane season is every year from June 1 through November 30. In fact, some of the worst hurricanes in history happened in October and November.

Grow up and stop believing stupid nonsense. And for crying out loud, don’t politicize severe, catastrophic weather.
