This is the moment I have been waiting for-The season of good times that features john amos as james evans during season 1, 2, and 3. It seems like i have been waiting forever for TBS to show the first season again. Well it's almost here and I don't care what no one says, John Amos was the STAR of Good Times and it showed after he left.

Esther Rolle was definitely the star. No doubt. I also liked the last season. It was one of my favorites. I had problems with season 5. Esther needed to be back. She brought balance. Jimmie Walker trying to do jokes was getting tired. I was so happy when she came back. The Matriarch needed to be there. Although the Patriarch was gone, it was a relief to see her back.

Yeah, you guys better record all you can. Good Times, as Pav stated earlier, leaves TBS after December 31st. The last episode TBS will air is "The Hustle" from Season 4. I missed recording the first episode this morning, but you better believe I'm recording what I can.

Esther Rolle wasn't hardly the star of Good Times, it was definitely John Amos. I felt bad for him all those years he had to kiss that ugly woman. Is he still playing on the new show The District with Craig T Nelson? Is The District really filmed in Washington DC?
