Following the success of Hershey's Kisses Hershey's decided to create another candy which were essentially Hershey's Kisses with white chocolate and chocolate stripes and were packaged in a silver wrapper with the brown stripes. The candy's name Hershey's Hugs. To honor their debut in 1994 Hershey launched an interesting commercial. I think this commercial might be clay animated that showed how Hershey's Hugs were made and based on this commercial's success Hershey scored a winner. Hershey's Hugs like the Kisses were also made with almonds and are still on the market today. For some reason Hershey's Hugs are scarce to find in my area but they are also a Hawkee favorite
