Not sure how good of an idea this looked like, since M*A*S*H's ratings and shares would've slipped below the 20 threshold. This ended when CBS moved M*A*S*H back to Tuesdays in December, and in an anchor slot, which it would have for the remainder of its run. Persky focused on Big Eddie, Denoff on The Montefuscos. Neither made it to Thanksgiving.
