Who are some artists/groups who had the strangest trajectories in their long careers? It's a given that any long-running artist or group is bound to change their sound (https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/NewSoundAlbum) at various points (https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/EarlyInstallmentWeirdness/Music) in their careers. Some changes are well-received, some aren't (https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/TheyChangedItNowItSucks/Music).

Yeah, but that's not really saying Sawyer Brown had a "strange trajectory".

^^^ Actually they could fit the bill. It is said that some changes are well received, and some are not. Sawyer Brown sadly wasn't all that consistent at first where their radio success is concerned. They didn't become more consistent with their big hits until the 90s came around.

God bless you and the band members always!!!
