One time I only saw the end of a GG ep., and I think Sophia may have thought the other girls did'nt need her. Then at the end they all said they did and Dorthy, Rose, and Blanche all gave her a hug. Was there ever an ep. like that?

The finale had Dorothy come back in after she left with husband Leslie Neilson, and she hugegd the girls...twice actually. You may be thinking of that.

I think you're thinking of the episode where Sophia plans to go live with Phil, because he needs her more than Dorothy does. As I recall, it was a two-parter, and it ended with her staying there. I think she stayed in Miami because "Big Sally," Phil's wife, came back home after a fight.

OR...

it could be the episode where Gloria invites Sophia to live with her. Gloria was much more wealthy, and could give Sophia anything she wanted. But, in the end... yes, she stayed with the girls.

Those are two more possibilities...
