I found a Merrie Melodies cartoon that appears to be circa 1940's-50's called Walky-Talky-Hawky and when I saw this cartoon I couldn't believe that there was a cartoon with my name on it. From what I learned about this cartoon is that it marks the first appearences of Foghorn Leghorn and Henry Hawk. Was this a rare gem of Merrie Melodies cartoons and is it considered the top cartoons of Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies? I was so surprised that this cartoon had my name in the title

Henery Hawk first appeared a few years earlier than this cartoon, which is from 1946. It is the first Foghorn Leghorn cartoon though.

There's an Animated Short Oscar category. The first Warner cartoon nominated was "A Wild Hare" in 1940, and the first Warner short to win an Oscar was "Tweetie Pie" in 1947.

The Warner shorts had relatively few Academy wins, compared to Disney and MGM (MGM primarily for Tom and Jerry shorts).

I can't get over how this Merrie Melodies cartoon has my name in the title and when I saw Walky-Talky-Hawky I had to smile and laugh. My dad has known to call me Walky-Talky Hawky sometimes when I can't stop talking a lot which I dislike because i'm known to be a chatterbox around people and when I get real excited I get really loud and holler a lot. Too bad that cartoon doesn't spell Hawky with two e's though. It would've been a lot cooler don't you think?
