This is a difficult one for me, as a kid I preferred Noel Neill's version of Lois Lane, as an adult I preferred Phyllis Coates. I think Coates is a better actress, she did a great job detailing the character.

To be honest in the past I have crushed on both of them. I'm going with Noel though, partly because she played the role longer, including one of the movie serials that pre-dated the TV series. When she was looking her best she was quite a hottie.

Noel Neill herself, was actually in the first Superman film with Christopher Reeve. It's a very brief role as Lois Lane's mother (https://community.cbr.com/threads/who-is-lois-lanes-mother.151903/) with Kirk Alyn as Lois' father (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam_Lane_(comics)) as passengers on a train.
