After his talk show ended in the 90's many people thought that Australian talk show host Gordon Elliott would disappear from America after trying his hand at talk shows and even the remake of To Tell The Truth that aired in the 90's. The answer was false when Gordon Elliott hit the jackpot and began a new career this time becoming spokesman for Campbell's Soup. Gordon Elliott made his first Campbell's Soup commercial in 1999 for Campbell's Soup At Hand and I can honestly say Gordon Elliott really can do commercials like a pro and he is really good in this commercial. The second commercial was for Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup and featured Gordon as a door-to-door salesman urging people to try Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup and shows Gordon Elliott at his best. Gordon Elliott was Campbell's Soup spokesman from 1999 to 2003. But why of all celebrities did Gordon Elliott get chosen to be Campbell's Soup spokesman? And it's shocking that you haven't seen Gordon Elliott or heard much about him since these commercials stopped airing on TV

I think Campbell's Soup was desperate to have celebrities market their soups because seeing what they did to Campbell's Chunky Soup by making NFL stars famous by having them as spokesmen for Campbell's Chunky Soup they thought that using well-known celebrity talent would help market Campbell's Soup. Why I think Gordon Elliott was chosen to be Campbell's Soup's spokesman was because I think he was planning to host a cooking show sponsored by Campbell's Soup but instead Campbell's Soup gave Gordon Elliott these commercials as a better money option. As I mentioned in my opening post in this thread today you don't hardly see or hear much about Gordon Elliott and I wonder what he's doing now?
